OML Complaint Against the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors
Holding a finger in the dike
Today I filed an OML Complaint against the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors. You can download a copy of the Complaint and the 230 pages of exhibits here from my ProtonDrive. It took months to negotiate, obtain and review public records - because the BOS and county public health hid their work behind closed-door executive sessions, in my view, unlawfully.
We all feel COVID fatigue. We want it over. We want our lives back. But it happened. We can’t change the timeline. We were born into this history - and I’ll be damned if I let anyone forget that at a moment of national crisis many in public health and elected positions threw out the rulebook.
But the work is important.
So here I am - holding a finger in the dike. I won’t let this go.
If you read nothing else in Complaint - please at least read this closing section.
End.
